Ολοκληρώθηκε η 80η τελετή των Χρυσών Σφαιρών για το 2023, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Beverly Hilton της Καλιφόρνια. Μεγάλοι νικητές το «The Fabelmans» του Steven Spielberg και το «The Banshees of Inisherin» του Martin McDonagh, που κέρδισαν τα βραβεία των Καλύτερων Ταινιών σε Δράμα και Κωμωδία ή Μιούζικαλ αντίστοιχα. Οι ταινίες αυτές μαζί με το «Everything Everywhere All At Once» ήταν και οι μόνες ταινίες με πάνω από 2 νίκες: από 2 για το The Fabelmans και το Everything Everywhere All At Once και 3 για τη μαύρη κωμωδία του McDonagh.
